Amazing feat (and feet) by Lyndon managing to get under 19min in two 5k's and get from Park run to Halewood in between/in time. And then he was off to measure the course for Charity 5k on Prom this Wed!

For future reference this is Cheadle in the middle of effin nowhere by Stoke-on-Trent and not the Cheadle by the 4th largest John Lewis I thought I was signing up for when I admittedly did not check the small print. Or the address.

Lawrence wanted to try to use the hilly course excuse for his time, unfortunately the winner went over the line in 23:39 which scuppered that one somewhat.

Well organised race. Enthusiastic marshalls.
Free soup & roll in Leisure Centre afterwards (I even went back for seconds!)
They gave out plastic bags to put over your muddy shoes.
Hot water left in the showers for me even though I finished well down the field.
All this for a fraction of the cost of entry into L'pool 1/2 marathon!
