Re: Re: OT - Films with San Francisco locations

Rush has a great deal here about Charlie Chan at Treasure Island at http://charliechanfamily.tripod.com/id38.html that you might want to use at anytime but is great prep for the movie and/or San Francisco. . . .

There is, of course, the featurettes on that particular boxed set of Charlie Chan DVDS.

May I humbly bring up my own website, www.theoldmoviemaven.com?

I have the AMC Introduction of CC at Treasure Island at http;//tommenterprises.tripod.com/id73.html. I have also included a map and its legend of the real Treasure Island at the page of my website at the top of this page.

May I also suggest a general google search at this link (and I hope it works!): http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4RNWN_enUS268US268&q=TREASURE+ISLAND+CA

In any case, Godwin, please take lots of pictures and notes! . . . Please keep in mind that I would love to post them at my website in the Chan Annex section if I may!

Virginia

SIDE NOTE: Godwin, I checked out the www.universalmonsterarmy.com and found out that you had mentioned Rush's marvelous chat room and our humble beverage cart! TYSM, kind sir!--VA

Yikes!!

I forgot the San Francisco's Old Chinatown Page on my website!!

Great for background material before going to the city!

Plus more information if you're interested in Sam Spade and the Maltese Falcon at
http://tommenterprises.tripod.com/id72.html
that includes a map of the pertinent sites to that movie!

Re: OT - Films with San Francisco locations

Not Charlie Chan Related, But One Excellent Film With San Francisco Locales is Mel Brooks HIGH ANXIETY

Re: Re: OT - Films with San Francisco locations

I'm thinking "Time After Time" about HG Wells in San Francisco is another one I should watch again.
