My goal is to one day raise Swans and Peacocks though I have never raised birds before. My husband and I built an aviary and have a white Dove, 5 parakeets, 2 Diamond Doves and 4 Button Quail. My Button Quail have just been laying eggs and some have started hatching. Three are alive and 2 have been found dead. I have taken the Hen and her nest, eggs and chicks and have seperated them from the rest. I hope this will help her because the Parakeets keep checking on her and her eggs. If anyone has any sugestions Please let me know. |

Just returned from a visit to my sister's in Mississippi where she raised chickens, rosters, turkeys, goats and soon, peacocks. Think I'll be adding RIR's to my beef, horse farm in New York soon! Thanks for your informative web site! |

Raising quail and chickens as cancer therapy can be overwhelming. Thanks for a site that provides uplifting and inspiration as well as useful information on how to make my little ones healthier and more comfortable. I had known about misting chicken eggs but was told not to mist quail eggs ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
