It is terrible to learn of my friend Luke's passing. He was a fascinating man, a kind and decent man whom I respected and liked. I join his family and friends in their grief, and extend to them my condolences. Luke will be missed by many whose lives he touched. He was a giant, and we shall not see his like again. This is a great loss for many people.

it is with sadness that i must post this on my fathjers web site, to all of you that have visited thank you but there will be no more postings from luke. on the 14th of july this year 2008 my father and the father to joan mignon scott and his grand kids lost his battle with pacriatic cancer. he will be surely missed as we miss him every day. he is with han now our mother and oonce again i thank you all for visiting the site and making him a happy man for doing this site and stage 6 as well. we miss you dad

Hello. I fond your site when searching netfor an image of artworks by Akis, since I have an artwork by this artist. I think it may have been purchased by my husband around 1977 on a visit he made to New Guinea in his capacity as a Senator of the Australian Government. I was doing some research and noticed that your site mentioned my father, the late Sir Buri Kidu. It is very interesting to see the pictures you have relating to my fathers swearing-in as CJ (and there is also a picture of him holding me when I was only about 2 years old!).
