my granddaughter is 1yr old now,she has a lymphatic cystic hygroma its in her tonge and her neck,she is trachy dependant and is fed via gastrostomy tube.she is learning to sign at the moment and is doing very well comunicating with us.we are waiting for a second oppinion on her condition as our doctors know very little.we are at present awaiting a second oppinion from great ormond street hospital.its lovely having sophie home with us at long last,thing is that she spent 9 months in hospital,so we are just thankfull for having her home,its been a long hard 9 months for sophie as she caught the mrsa bug 8 times and then managed to get sceptacimia but she sailed through it all no problem,she is a very strong willed little girl.we dont know what the future holds for her aswe need to find a doctor who can tell us,so in the mean time we shall carry on loving her to bits and concentrate on today.i would love to hear from any one who knows what we are going through.it makes us feel that we are not alone thankyou from tracey.
